Tobi Lawal

I build things that protect and develop people.

One person, one worldview, three things. A business that protects families, a Studio that develops leaders, and a community that develops men. Kinship is where I prove it - the AI-native company I run - and the Studio is where I teach it.

Fifteen years building commercial deals inside regulated industries. Now I run an AI-native business. Every process in it sits on a system I built.

Protect the people you love. Develop the people you lead. Everything I build sits on one of those two verbs.

The three things

One worldview, three expressions

Read them in order. Kinship is the flagship and the proof; the Studio teaches the method I run it on; Conquest carries the same idea into men's lives. Different audiences, one operator.

Kinship Now live

The flagship - protecting families

An AI-native business, protecting families across borders.

Kinship lets someone in the UK set up real healthcare in Nigeria for a parent they love, in minutes. I run it day to day on systems I built - the research, the modelling, the automations, the meeting pipeline. It closed its seed round this year.

This is the proof behind the Studio. When I say I teach leaders to execute like founders with AI, Kinship is what that looks like in practice - a live company, run on the method, not a slide about it.

The Studio - developing leaders

Ship Something Real

This is how I run Kinship. The Studio teaches commercial leaders - and the directors who buy it for their teams - to work the same way: like founders, with AI, inside the role they already hold. Nothing hypothetical. The coursework is your own live work - a proposition, a strategy, a model, a bid - and you finish with it shipped, not with a certificate.

Ship Something Real runs two ways: a 90-day sprint inside your commercial function, and a ten-week cohort for senior leaders. Both climb the same four levels, from your own fluency to AI in the thing you sell.

The community - developing men

Take ground. Hold the line.

Every capable man has ground he's never claimed. He's solid where he's watched - work, money, the room - and quietly unsteady where he isn't: his marriage, his body, his presence, his purpose.

Conquest is six grounds, one standard, and the brotherhood to take the ones that count. My other work turns toward the deal. This one turns toward the man.

The operator record

The receipts behind all three

One record sits underneath all of it. Everything below shipped - submitted, signed, or funded. It is the standard everything here is judged by.

A nine-figure bid

Personally led the response to a multi-year, nine-figure GWP bid in personal lines insurance.

"Best bid in eight years"

Authored a partnership bid the buyer rated the best they had seen in eight years.

A category from scratch

Built OEM and bank partnerships for a car subscription category that didn't previously exist, negotiated at MD and board level.

First-of-their-kind contracts

Won a roadside assistance brand's first OEM contract in its company history.

Value reframes that win

Redesigned a partnership value equation a competitor was trying to win on price - and kept the partner.

A funded AI-native company

Founded Kinship and closed a seed round while still in a senior commercial role - with AI doing the heavy lifting.

Specific clients and deal names are under NDA and shared, where possible, in conversation.

Writing

What I'm learning, as I build it

Each week I write up one system from my AI operating stack - what it does, what it replaced, and how to build your own. Written for senior commercial leaders in complex organisations.
